Pretty good entry. Love the main menu, but the cells/card art somewhat clashes with the rest of the game style. As for gameplay, a lot more decision making is needed than at first appearance. Pretty fun. If I had to say what I'd change with the game, probably the card selecting. Slightly annoying how it effectively blocks the game screen. It would be fine if it still came at fixed intervals but off to the side, or at the bottom or something, but having it come in and block the gameplay is a bit of a nuisance, considering the game doesn't pause meanwhile.
As a whole though, still amazing for a game jam entry!

We decided to leave the card selection screen that way to increase the sense of urgency of the player. But your ideas are very close to the others we had.
Really cool concept and gameplay, the little cell sounds kept making me laugh and the animation on this feels unique. Something to improve (if this was meant to be improved upon, anyway) might be the number of healthy cells can fill up the heart too much.
That sounds weird, I know haha. Nice work on this and thanks for making it! :)
Really Polished and great concept! Gets a little easy once you've figured it out, but for the time you had this is really awesome! I could totally imagine this idea going further with more types of cards, possibly more levels/modes with different types of cells or something. Keep up the good work!

The game looked really cool, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to run it. Clicking ‘Start’ didn’t seem to do anything.

When you click Start, does the game crash completely?
Nope, it stays in the menu screen. May be because I’m on Mac (chromium browser)? I dunno

We added a screenshot of the menu screen to the embed background. Maybe it was a bit confusing.
Yeah I did. The game music starts playing and I can even pause pressing Esc but the menu does not hide :(
